Just a tease for the detailed pics and descriptionms to follow named to Brig.General Samuel Pickens Collins.. I got this because of his 1926 West Point (USMA) memorbilia that was in thius group, as West Point named to General is quite hard to find and add to collecting

Post war insignias, all Meyer marked..Calling cards as per traditionm, named soldiers bible, massive stack of love letters from his future wife ( who is buried along side him at Arlington National Cemetary, his 1946 class of 1926 USMA reunionb booklet, his 1926 Blazer jacket patch, and his rare to find armband from 1926... a couple campaign medals of his, and a ribbon selection

I read those love letters from the first one,from his soon to be wife, and after the first 12 had to quit, felt creepy reading them. They were buried together at Arlington National Cemetary side by side. The very first letter is a short one but wow!! she had this guy by the neck at first date, the letter was a followup to their first casual date with friends.
