One more,
From the Official Union of the Veterans of the Sacred Band, that fought at El Alamein, Italy and liberated the Greek islands! This medal issued during the 60s if i remember right, celebrating the Liberation of the Dodenanese islands in 1948. Very rare and expencive all silver. Only the silver is worth of 160 euros.. Front and back photos. On the back you can see the map of Dodekanese isl! I'm from the small island on the far left down side on the edge of the medal It's name is Kassos!! Hope you like it! (both the medal and the island )

Re: Greek medals.
This one is for Good Military Service for officers. Issued today on the front we can see Theodoros Kolokotronis, General and a war hero of the Greek Revolution of 1821. On the back we have the crest of the Greek Armed Forces as it is today and the medal's issue date, 1991.

Re: Greek medals.
I have what I believe to be an early Greek Navy Cap with four different accoutrements pinned on it. Can anyone tell me how to go about posting photos of these items to this site so that someone might be able to identify them for me? Thanks to anyone who has the time to explain this to me!
