The question now is... Who are the Boys From Brazil? And I'm not referring to the motion picture.

Marcus... has this become a private thread. I don't see the number of postings being recoded as usual by the thread where the listings are?

Richard,

When a thread has been moved to another section, the postcount are not increased in the original section, only in the section to where it was moved, as more posts are added in the thread.

About the gold (plated) bars. I have one of these and in order to fool anyone into thinking it is anything other than what it is (a good paperweight--which is what I use it for), one would have to do something about the big words cast into the bottom that say it's just what it is. The only thing I can think someone could do is grind the bottom off, replate it...or better yet take all the plate off, and say it is a sample of some secret metal used for some wonder weapon production--so rare that bars of it have to be treated like gold and handled by the Reichsbank...or some other crazy story. Hey, I'm just trying to use my imagination here--I've seen junk hawked at shows with wilder stories than that!
Can anyone think of a better way to sell one? Let's have a contest...who can think of the most imaginative way to sell off one of those bars. My entry is above.
