Any Private Collections Viewable in East Anglia?

Post by Troy » 25 Apr 2002 22:10

I'm interested in collecting WW2 German military equipment and wondered if their is anyone with a collection in East Anglia, UK where I can have a look and get a "feel" for collecting? More of a fact finding mission. I will not be looking to purchase anything at the moment.

Cheers for any help,

Hi there Troy

What type of equipment, awards or field equipment?

I'm in the general area of East Anglia , however I think you might not
get much responce as I guess many collectors will be slightly wary
of inviting people round to see their collections without knowing the
person first hand. Obviously I'm not questioning your integrity but you
have to be on your guard.

My first look at 3rd reich items was a visit to Stewart
Wilsons "The old Brigade". You have to make an appointment before
hand but at least you can talk shop with a 3rd reich specialist
and check out his current stock.

You can send me a private message anytime if you want to talk
shop or want to know anything else.
