Although there was an official directive about mimikri painting, clearly there was some scope for imaginative painting. Period imagery of camouflage MGs is reasonably scarce. Some other images are in the MG08 and Maxim Mounts threads.

For the Moderator - could this thread be put into the OTHER ERAS - FIRST WORLD WAR section so that it can run alongside MG08 and MOUNTS?
