OMG what is it with your emotions?! No one wants to read about your negative emotions and your German guilt. Don’t feel bad about the MG 08, ok?!

Seriously, are you drinking when you are making these posts?

Not sure if kfbr392 is talking to me or Hans1906!! but either way I hope neither one is offended. Although both seemingly present in Germany. Well done the Moderators. I don't own the website but I do like to promote all aspects of the Imperial German machine gun. Everyone should have an opinion and these websites are great for this. My Great Great grandfather was a British WWI Guards MG SGT and survived the Great War, but just think how many British servicemen were fatal and wounded casualties from German MG expertise and professionalism. Does that mean I can criticise anybody else for a differing view, or claim to have the right perspective. Am I wrong to marvel at the Imperial German MG usage and not 'promote' Commonwealth usage? I welcome and respect Hans1906 comments. My only answer is my perspective. There is nothing stopping anyone starting a British, French or even American MG thread and how great would that be...even more perspectives to discuss.

Kfbr392 no problem. Here is a great view of a standard 5 man 08/15 team. We can see the large spare parts/cleaning roll case on the left, Good view of the water container sometimes called steam condenser can and front view of the ‘ersatz ‘bipod, which I seek an example of. If ever you are bored of 08/15 I post here on MG08 too!
