SS Pen Knife

Post by LAH » 05 May 2002 20:14

Can any body tell me, did the SS issue a pen knife.
I have aquired a small brass pen knife with the SS runes and swastika on the outer surface.
Any help will be gratefully recieved.
Mark.

I am 99.99% certain the SS never issued Pen Knives. This subject has been mentioned alot on other sites and alot of experts have stated that Pen knives were never issued.

Having said that its not to say that an SS Member did not have a pen knife made for himself but I have seen quite a few supposed SS Pen Knives listed on ebay so I would lean more to the Fantasy side.

I would definitely stay away from any SS pen knife that appears on Ebay or Epier!

I fully agree Ken dont buy pen knives SS from ebay.

I do wonder how many items were commissioned by Soldiers etc that are not mainstream Third Reich items ?? Could be alot of gear laying around from the period that are not heard of and many may think they are fantasy or Post war items. Could be an interesting subject.
