Unlikely, rifles and ammo were about the extent of the shipments with some explosives thrown in. It was a guerrilla war - no need for uniforms and helmetsDuring ww1 Germany sent military equipment to the Irish so they could figth aganst UK, maybe they send Helmets too and later they were used as a model to produce more by the Irish
