To answer aufklarung, if you want to taste one of the best whiskeys money can buy then go for the Bushmills Malt 10. I've been sampling whiskeys for years and its my firm favourite, as well as a favourite of some of my heavy drinking friends. Not for everyday consumption though.

What about the Belgians then? Is it just a rumour or a misunderstanding that the helmets would have been manufactured in Belgium?

Belgian helmets I cannot establish.

Even if regulations prohibited moustaches they could have broken the rules though I don t know what the rules were any one know?

During ww1 Germany sent military equipment to the Irish so they could figth aganst UK, maybe they send Helmets too and later they were used as a model to produce more by the Irish.

Unlikely, rifles and ammo were about the extent of the shipments with some explosives thrown in. It was a guerrilla war - no need for uniforms and helmets
