REICHSTAG EAGLE

Again from same Collector/ dealer unfortunately I have all ready purchased this.. Reichstag eagle bronze quite heavy size 42 cm wide
I do have better quality pics but the site wouldnt accept them

Hmm, cannot tell with out in hand, but, these can be fake aged,rusted-antiqued, using new ones, such as ReddicksMilitaria ones.

At one time years ago ReddickMilitaria had a much better extensive catalog of diffferent Adlers for sale, now they have a lesser quality of items.http://www.reddickmilitaria.com/german- ... ay-eagles/

Thanks Mark for your Info.. yes I have seen a lot of these being fakes.. It look real and feels real...I just wanted to double check as the collector / dealer is trying to sell me a fake SS Flag as the real thing.. Luckily this forum and War Relics kindly confirmed that it was fake..Thank you guys for all your help

Yes, as with the difference between Government Officials daggers and Diplomatic Corps daggers, it is the direction in which the eagle's head is facing which differentiates between the two, and the Government Officials eagle...and that on the back wall in the Reichstag at the Kroll Opera House...faces it's own right.
