Hello Guys and Gals,
I managed to find this for sale at a marketplace in England and decided to pick it up. This photo is in a very old wooden frame (24x18 inches). The back of the frame seems to have magazine pages in German glued to keep the back of the frame in place, one of the pages is dated 1914. Based on the SS Collar tabs I’d estimate this photo was pre-1940. I’ve seen this image before so I’m assuming it was a propaganda related production. I was wondering what you guys think of this find ? Was this taken by an English solder as a spoil of war from a home or office ? The magazine pages are very interesting detail on this piece, there’s no disputing the age of this this frame/photo. Any advice or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Waleed !
I appreciate the information, great find ! I knew it was mid-30’s and a produced photograph but not much else. What do you make of the frame and the magazine pages dated “1914” on the back ? Do you think this was displayed during the Nazi reign in Germany ?
Best !
