Recently, I found an SS Officer's Sword that is going on auction on April 17th. The piece seems to be nickel-plated and unmarked as a sword. Furthermore, the grip seems to be reversed. Generally, this would warm me, but I've seen an image of an SS High Leader Degen with the enamel SS button on the other side. The reference piece was held by SS Brigadeführer Kurt Freiherr von Shröder. The sword I'm thinking of bidding for lacks this unique history but shares that same characteristic. Based on the images I'm sending, is the sword worth it? Thank you all in advance. I'm trying my best to find discrepancies when I can, but I'm still no expert.
Best regards,
Zoglet
