Been searching for two days now on a positive ID of this USA visor. Pre WW2.. I am starting to search various either Cadet-military schools and ROTC's but am getting frustrated. any opinions with a link?

Visor cap U.S. Army EM/NCO WW II period ( Note the badge doesn't incorporate the Great Seal )

According to link it is British, hmmmmm and nothing USA that explains why I was stumped with search, doers explain why all tyhe other caps-military and civilian all were UK or British in his collection..He has, the guy whom this belongs to, had many Pith Helmets of various constructions and eras
