This is one of the only photo of my great grandfather. He was born and raised in Belgium. He fought in WW2. This photo is supposed to come from 1946.

No, but he had a son (my grandfather) who was born in Aussig, 1943. Most of my relatives are dead can't get much information on them. They said he fought in WW2, maybe he was one of the POWs who worked in the Reich like the other French Belgians? Maybe he ended up serving for the Germans? No idea really...
I will probably contact the Belgian archives to learn more.

This unfortunately very blurred photo probably showed a member of the labor services "Arbeitsdienst" from Belgium, or the Netherlands.
I am not sure, but remember similar photos...

I think he is wearing a Belgian side cap with an artillery insignia, two crossed cannons, with difficulty you can see
the characteristic tassel. Maybe is dressing a fatigue suit for service in the barrack.
