WW1 Era German Postcard “Help Us Win, Buy War Bonds”
The front reads : “Help us win! Buy war bonds”. Written on the side says : “Best wishes to you and your loved ones” A rough translation of the reverse reads:
“Dear Nini, heartfelt thanks for your last card. I’d never have thought that neither my mother nor my mother-in-law would be there for my wedding. Would you please give your dear mother my thanks for her nice letter. First, I never remember the address, and then due to the death there are so many changes that I never know how to find the time.”

Hi Heartfeltzero,
In my poster collection there is an original poster with this motif.
The poster was found by accident in a purchase of posters about politics and music in the 1960s, bought in the 1990s.
The poster is unfortunately a bit cropped, but otherwise in very good condition, it was a very good purchase.

The motif is a modern icon, Fritz Erler has created a masterpiece, without question.
