Very nice collections and looks in good conditions. Which one is your favorite piece? May we have a close-up to it?

I agree with Bryan, Jeremy. That is a really nice collection, and beautifully displayed, too.

Bryan. I like your crosses, also. Its hard to find good ones, particularly dating from the Imperial era.

JEREMY

Thanks, look forward to watch your post. In addition, may I have some close-up for your Wound Badge? They are very nice. What's the makers?

sylvieK4

Yes, you are right. It is really hard to find a good piece. For the EK, I try and try, so now many EKII. I will have one packeted EKII later. Hope it is also a good piece. I also collect Wound Badges, it is also hard to find a good piece but luck I got a good Gold WB.

4year- $275.00
12 year- $1000.00
25 year- $ 2000.00

It was part of the collection I bought, several thousand items the problem was that I didnt know if they where copies or not. So I passed on the 12 and 25 year service cross and gave them back until he can have them looked at by a dealer here in Germany.
I seen only a couple of copys of those and I believe they are real not fakes, but that is alot of money to waste.

Well steven I took this off of the PM for a reason. I'm fairly new to the Army 5 years in OCT to be true. I've made rank very quick because I'm very eager. I use this in my daily transactions no matter what it is, besides I have a good budget that I set myself on several years ago. I'm not the typical American in Germany that sets at home on the weekends drinking beer I'm out searching for these items. I"ve been collecting for 1 1/2 years now and I have devoted at least two hours a night reasearching, making contacts and visiting vets that my German friend has found. Thats why my collection is larger than most of the dealers I've seen all over the world. I'm not selling any items unless I have extras and someone is needing a item that I now I can replace. Not to sound like a ass but at this point and time a thousand items is for sure not what I have its is close to 10,000. Today a lady called me about twoWW11 navy uniforms complete with medals, that I'll buy saturday. Today alone I purchased approx. 35 items from WW1 to WW2 for under $600.00 I now that I can double my profit when I decide to sell in the future. If you want to talk again email but lets keep this open. By the way I have a WW1 sash from the 33 rgt. in Gold that i will be buying next month. The key to buying is searching, the fun is finding, the reward is buying, the dissappointment is running out of money, but the Germans are very worthy peaople and if you run out of money they will save it for you the next time you see them. The key is honesty and the contacts are very important. The old vets want to talk and they enjoy the company that one provides with that comes the treasures of the THIRD REICH. enough for now and one day when i have the time I'll download the pics of a wonderful collection that me and my frau have collected, until then I'll be watching the forum for the topics of the day. Thank You Jon

Hi Jon (/Rosey)

How are you? I watched that you using 1 1/2 to collect almost 10,000 items. I think it break the world record. You buy 18.2648 items per day. 8O If each item is US$10 for each, you paid for 100,000. This amount can buy a several KC to EK.

Could you tell me before you start your collecting, how long did you paid for the study and research on the WWI/WWII medals? May I know more your information materials, such as URL, books or something else? Could you share with us?

Cheers
Bryan
