Digs

Post by Y Ddraig Goch » 31 May 2002 14:01

I would like information on societys (preferably english) that carry out archeological digs, in Europe. Either for research for World War I but preferable World War II.

I would really like to work on a dig, I saw a documentry about it and I really enjoyed it.

These are a few good sites. The first one shows you artifacts and battlefields of World War II...archaeological digs, items recovered.

This next one has info about Third Reich sites in Germany, and has several links.

I think you will like them.

Those are neat sites, Sylvie.....thank you for posting them. I don't have time to read through them thoroughly right now, but I'm going to.
