SS Stamp Opinions Please

I recently aquired this stamp which I have to say on recieving it I was immediately unhappy with . The handle is I am sure not period being made of softwood and stained. The stamp itself when unscrewd also looks suspect due to the modern type screw.

I really do not know anything about such items so any help would be appreciated.

I have seen an authentic piece, very differant.

The screw is not right, in my opinion.

BTW how much for that APB?
