Dear Members,
i search any informations concern this buckle.
In particular i want know if is possible that he was used also during the TR era.
My poor scan read only to up zero distance so the pic in side back is very poor cause the buckle is no flat, sorry!
Front side too = FREISTAAT PREUSSEN
In center of side back = CE (or GE or CF or GF...im blind) JUNCKER and down BERLIN and down 1929.
All the round section structure of the buckle is in only 1 piece.
Cause i want will put in "For sale and wanted" section this buckle, i ve particolar interest in informations concern the range price and if he is common or interessant or so.
Great thank You.
Luca

PS = cause i think that no all Members read all sections of this superforum...if the hosts permit,i will put the link of this topic also in "Uniforms, Headgear & Insignia"section.

Hi,
I'd say that this is a police buckle.
Cheers

My guess is pre Third Reich Prussian military / paramilitary.

FREISTAAT PREUSSEN means Republic of Prussia (i.e. Free State Prussia).

That would date the belt (if authentic) to somewhere between 1919-1935.

The eagle in the centre of the belt is similar (identical) to the eagle on the Prussian Republic Flag (1919 - 1935).
