The 8mm Luftwaffe machine gun round has a blue ring and black tip


You will see the combination is not right . The lowest one of the three with the blue "analus" as this ring round the primer is called, has a complete dark grey head is a zinc plated head, not black

I suppose this cartridge is put together from two seperate parts. A tracer bullet has a black tipped nose , a red annalus means armour piercing.

What was the most common use composition(type of ammunition) in magazine?
In what time self destruct mechanism destroy the bullet?

Thoughts on this 2 cm flak rd? It's early ('37) and I do not know the meaning of the light yellow (or faded white) stripe above the driving band. Thanks!
