Erkennungsmarke -5948- 1./Inf.Ers.Btl. 406

Greetings!

I'm looking for a certain Erkennunsmarke, with numbers: -5948- 1./Inf.Ers.Btl. 406 . It is very important for me, because it was the Erkennungsmarke of my grandfather's brother, who has been Missing in Action since 23.01.1943. He was a soldier of 8. Kompanie Grenadier Regiment 585 then, in area of Kadran, Südrussland.

I know there is a little hope for me, but perhaps somebody found this Erkennungsmarke and could help me in finding His grave. I'd like to say that the soldier with that Erkennungsmarke wasn't a Nazi or murderer, and he was forced to join German Wehrmacht.
