Is there any opinions on this wound badge . There is a example of this type in Hamelmans book. I have not seen one . Is this one good?

Hi Don

I don't have the Hamelmans book. From my limited resources, I can't find anything that talking about the WWI BWB variations or any example similar to yours.

For your type of WBW, maybe you discovered the difference between this one and the usual type. I compared this badge with my WWI BWBs and SWBs. I found the following different:

- Helmet is different
- The upper rivet is not hollow
- Swords are much longer

To me, this piece may be out of my knowledge in WWI Wound Badge. Hope someone can let me learn more from this case.

Cheers
BP

Bryan
I was hoping we could have gotten some information on this badge. If you collect wound badges you should try and get this book by Hamelman. The pictures are not that great. There is some good basic info.
