Curious if anyone would know what the original use of a banner of this size / type would have been for or any other information... It is about 6' long, single sided, and the fringer on the bottom seems to contain some metallic in it.

I have never seen this type of banner in that size before, so I can only speculate that it is a podium banner.

Did the flag contain the fringe on all sides?

I'm no expert, but I can only say that in my opinion, its a podium banner.
