Chinese Warlord Armies use of shotguns?

There was a massive variety of firearms in use with the various Chinese warlord armies, but one type that I haven't really seen mentioned are shotguns. Was there any notable use of shotguns by any Chinese warlord troops either in combat or for security duties? If so I'd be curious to know anything about known makes/models that were used.

From all the info known about these armies it seems that shotguns aren't used or are very rarely used. Especially since most of their suppliers don't see shotguns as a good weapon for combat
