I checked the document again and found that I have misinterpreted part of it. The report only mentioned that six prototypes of "7.5cm two-part barrel gun"(七生的五两节式陆炮) were built by Hanyang Arsenal, and said that they can be moved by pack animals just like mounatin guns. It does not say that they were based on Krupp field gun - another part of the report is devoted to the Krupp field guns being built in Hanyang and I mixed them up.

So I think it is highly possible that this is one of the "7.5cm two-part barrel gun". However the information on it is still, like many other artillery pieces designed and made at Chinese national arsenals in 1910s and early 1920s, extremely scarce.

I recently had a chance to visit the military museum in Bejing and took a bunch of photos while there. However, when I review the pictures found this strange-looking gun. The plate said the gun was a Modified 75mm Type 37 Howitzer but the carriage and gun shield look akin to a QF 6pdr.

Hi all,

I found this image on Ebay. According to photocaption Chinese guns.
Any idea ??

Sturm78
Well,it was in Taku Forts, one of the forts on the south.
Image
According to the data,(14 shore guns in that fort.All Krupp guns.Two 24cm L/35,two 21cm L/35,one 21cm L/22,two 15cm L/40,two 15cm L/35,two 15cm L/26 and three 15cm L/19)(Another record which written by Theodor Ritter von Winterhalder said that two 24cm L/35,two 21cm L/35,two 15cm L/40,six unknow 15cm and two 12cm L/20 are in the fort)
So, it might be the 24cm K.L/35 C/80 Küsten.

Type 13

A gun imitated by Taiyuan Arsenal. And it should be the most widely equipped artillery in the shan hsi army.
In fact, the 18th Group Army has also obtained such artillery.

Thank you karlik. Do you know if the soldiers in my image are Chinese (as I thought) or Japanese ??
According to some informations the Type 41 Japanese gun was based on the German Krupp M1908 mountain gun....

It seems that Taiyuan Arsenal manufactured in 1920-30s some artillery pieces of German origin and I suppose that 75mm Type 13 is one of them

Tis a 57mm (British 6 pounder QF on mk 3 carriage) it's missing the armour plate on the carriage and the Muzzle brake

It's not Type 13.The prototype of Type13 is based on Type41 or a simplified version of it.If you're talking about German origin artillery, you might be referring to the Type 18 field artillery.
Image
Or 150 mm howitzer, no name, only produced two samples. The only remaining one is preserved in the Arms Museum of Nanjing University of Science and Technology.

Hi Yang

The Chinese Type 13 was based on the Japanese Type 41, which in turn was based on a German Krupp design....

On the other hand, Can somebody identify the model of these Chinese mortars ?
Sorry for the bad quality of the image

Ummhhh... I am not sure. I have this image labeled as a Chinese Type 20 mortar and I can see some differencies.
One of the two can not be a Type 20....
Do you know if China manufactured any other model of 82mm mortar in 1920-1930-1940s?

Thank you for your addtional images
