NRA Group Armies question

I've been reading up on Chinese military units during WWII, and was wondering what the historical official translation term for 集團軍 was during the war, as it could translate as "group Army' or 'Army group' depending on how it's read or interpreted. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It is called Group Army during the war. This can be confirmed by the arm bands used in units. e.g. 18AG for the 18th 集團軍. Army Group is used as the official translation for 軍團.

It is a translation, so it is as pointless as debating whether Chiang Kai- Shek or Jiang Jieshi is the correct name. All I can say is it is officially translated as Group Army by the Chinese during the war. Which version u use is up to u. The same goes for whether to use Army or Corps for KMT 軍. While Corps seems more appropriate, it was called Army at the time of the war.
