BTW Which "government" was this armored train belong to? I assume it belonged to Manchukuo army, but not sure. I have never seen other photos of armored train like this.
I hadn't noticed this before, but isn't that a palm tree on the right side of the photo? If so, wouldn't that imply that the photo was most likely taken somewhere south of Shandong province? I know that the 19th Route Army had an armored train during the Shanghai Incident in 1932, so they weren't completely unknown in the south.
