1937-The Peach-Bloom Maidens, who received hasty military training from the Chinese central government, participated in heavy battles along the Shanghai Front.

1941--Chinese General Li Chang-Chiang reviewing troops. The General surrendered himself and his forces to the Japanese and promised to join hands with the Nanking government. Li was commander of the Fourth Division of the Chiang Kai-Shek's Army

Interesting that the Chinese soldiers marching, on the second to the top picture, seem to be carrying Japanese ammo packs? The M35 seems to be well used in 1942.
