Re: Chinese coastal batteries
On Nanshanding Battery we can see one more big part preserved. Is it carriage pintle (front on center position)?

I found next two barrels, could you recognise it?
And one more old picture probably with 24 or 28 cm from Weihai area.

Yes. Also one center pintle is preserved in West Battery in Yingkou.
The partly complete Krupp gun is in Humen - it also still has its breechblock!
The three photos in your last post:
1, don't know
2, this is also the 24cm barrel in the Military Museum in Beijing
3, A barrel in Lushun

Re: Chinese coastal batteries
Do you have pictures from Yingkou, I can't find it.
Barrel from Beijing Museum is from what location?
Barrel from Lushun is Chinesse or Russian armament? (I found interesting list of guns here with barrel lenghts, made on 21.11.1894 after Japanesse siege - so I suppose it is Chinesse armament).

Re: Chinese coastal batteries
Can anyone identify this carriage pintle(pivot) from Xiaoshiwan Battery, Jiangyin? AFAIK most of the Krupp pintles are conical(round), so this must be of a different type of gun.
I often read about "勃休马后膛炮" in late 19th century Chinese writings on coastal forts. The name which has the most similar sound to 勃休马 is, I think, Bessemer; but it seems that there isn't a kind of "Bessemer breechloading gun". So perhaps this name refers to a certain type of breechloading gun which employed Bessemer process in its production?

Re: Chinese coastal batteries
I found two new pictures for this topic.
First one is rare view of two yet exised 28 cm Krupp guns in casemates of Hulishan fort in Xiamen.

Second is an other, smaller Krupp gun emplacement, but I can't recognize its location.

Re: Chinese coastal batteries
No idea as to location, but the first pic is a US Naval 3 inch 50 dual purpose most likely removed from a lend lease PC supplied to USSR or Nationalists.

More B-13 guns pictures. Seacost gunners drill and railway platform hidden into concrete hole/cave. I found these pictures on Chinese webpages but not sure it shows Soviet or Chinese army.

Last photo - yes, Woosung.
The ML-20 photo is very interesting. I think your interpretation is correct - new guns on old emplacement. Would you please post the source of it?
