When and where?

Hello to all :D; a little query..............................

When and where?

At an auction on eBay I found this album on (supposedly) the war between China and Japan in Shanghai in the thirties. It is true?

Hi tigre,

This reply probably came a bit later than what you might've preferred...

But I doubt that these photos are 1930s Shanghai.

There's no clear evidence in the photographs to prove that they are of Shanghai, but the Japanese labels on the first two photos say "Dalian Sato household." So these photos are probably more likely to be those of the northern port city of Dalian than Shanghai.
