Which Sino-Japanese war battle is suitable to made into a homemade animation?

I'm looking for a battle with the following traits.

1.If possible, let it be a battle where there is a website which specifically details what happened so and so on one day and what happened on the next day preferably in English. If there's no English website a Chinese one will do because I can use a translator.

2.There must be troops wearing Stahlhelms( German helmets)during the battle but if there are other Divisions fighting along side them not wearing Stahlhelms it's okay.

3.It must not have too much ship bombardments or air strikes taking place because I don't think my software can make those scenes. :)

The battle for Shanghai in 1937 would undoubtedly be your best choice in my view -- tons of photos for reference, lots of English language resources, and German-equipped Chinese troops were involved in the fighting.
