What color is the uniform in this photo?

Post by Garuda » 13 May 2018 10:23

I've just finished reading https://forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic ... 1&t=170914 . From one of the posts, I found out that Kuomintang uniform "for the summer was pale apple green while the autumn uniforms were Khaki and the winter uniforms were bluish-grey."
Then I saw this photo

This photo was during the Nankou Campaign/Operation Chahar during August which was Summer time so the soldiers in this photo would most likely be wearing green uniforms. However, the color of their uniforms looks very light and doesn't look like it's green. Can anyone confirm as to what color their uniforms are?

It's impossible to tell exact color of tthe uniform from black & white photo. My guess they are wearing light khaki uniforms.
