Can anyone detail the when and how this unit was deployed to Vladivostok. I have seen a photo, one of the numerous Vladivostok parade shots, with an American, then Chinese and then Japanese formations. Since the Americans didn't arrive until August 16th, it would have to have been later. Secondly, I have a citation of 250 men of America's 27th Infantry, advancing northward along with a Japanese company and a Chinese company; perhaps August 24th or later. Finally, the American commander is highly complimentary regarding the professionalism of Chinese troops relating to the protection of the Suchan coal mining operation. No idea at all of when, or how withdrawn. Hoping new scholarship can add. Many thanks in advance.
