December 1897 Russian fleet deployment Manchuria

In December a Russian Squadron was deployed on the eastern coast of Liaodong -Port Arthur/Lushan of Dalian--it stayed until an agreement was forced in March 1898. What ships were involved? Is there a narrative I can retrieve? Apparently the Royal Navy deployed 16 or 17 ships to southern Korea to watch over the events. What ships. Looking for a little clearer narrative? Ultimately Russia gets a lease for Port Arthur plus and Britain leases Weihaiwei to watch the Russians. Many thanks in advance.
