The 19th Route Army was in both battles, 1932 and 1937.

Fate of the 19th Route Army

Post by asiaticus » 16 Sep 2006 01:33

At Shanghai in 1937 there is the 19th Army Group, coommanded by Hsueh Yueh.

The 19th Route Army was sent to Fujian after the 1932 Shanghai battle and its leaders were involved in a revolt against Chiang Kai-shek in 1933. When it failed that force was broken up.
