RE: Recommended Reading On Alternate History.
Greetings to both citizen Hurgan and the community as a whole. Well sir, in reference to your inquiry of Tuesday - March 27, 2007 - 12:57am, old Uncle Bob is not presently aware of the existence of any recently published works of alternative history gravitating upon Twentieth Century Japan and the war in the Pacific. With that said, old yours truly would like to recommend the following work of literature for your perusal. The work of literature in question is entitled as THE BURNING MOUNTAIN: A Novel Of The Invasion Of Japan. The author is Alfred Coppel and the publisher is Harcourt Brace Jovanovich in New York City. The publishing year is 1983. I believe you will find THE BURNING MOUNTAIN to be relevant to your particular interests. ENJOY! Well, that's my latest two cents worth on this hypothetical topic of interest - for now anyway. In anycase, I would like to bid you a copacetic day over in the ever enduring land of Poland.
Best Regards,
Uncle Bob

There is a rather long multi author series on line (at a couple sites I believe) where the major departure is a German victory at Jutland. Most of it is very well done and researched. Do a search under letterstime and you should turn up a few hits or just click on:
