Did the germans have any chance to win battle for Britain?

Could they have won if they had concentrated on bombing airplane factories and airfields instead of other things?

Maybee in the short term, a few months perhaps, but the Luftwaffe could'nt keep up the effort continously, especially in Scotland. They certainly would not have been able to damage Britains aircraft manufacturing industries enough to effect the number of aircraft Britain needed to maintain her airforce. At best they could have asserted air supremecy in the south of the country for a few months, at great cost and to no real benefit.
I think Goering finaly realised that.

I agree, I can see the Germans gains supremacy for a short period, driving the RAF north. But the Luftwaffe lacked the long range aircraft necessary to keep up the pressure and it lacked the strategic bombers required to carry out an offensive air campaign that far from home.
