Would Poland have conquered as much territory had the Whites won the Russian Civil War?

Post by Futurist » 17 Dec 2018 07:35

Do you think that Poland would have conquered as much territory as it did in real life had the Whites won the Russian Civil War?

I know that Poland was able to make a lot of territorial gains at Russia's expense in the Polish-Soviet War in real life, but I am wondering if Poland would have been as successful had it fought the Russian Whites rather than the Bolsheviks (in the event that the Russian Whites would have been winning in Russia). This is also tied to the question of whether Poland would have gotten as much Western (especially, but not only, French) aid as it did in real life if it was fighting the Russian Whites rather than the Russian Reds (Bolsheviks).

Any thoughts on this?
