Hemp Cultivation in the USSR

While I was studying the awards for the Soviet Union, I found the following badge, it was bestowed to master hemp growers - Мастеру коноплеводства.

Since cannabis has been cultivated in the regions of the USSR for hundreds of years, what would have happened if the 1960's American Cultural Revolution had occurred in the Soviet Union during the 1930's instead?

Comrade Stalin was known to favor his pipe, suppose he inhaled a pinch or two of grass during a "what the hell, why not?" moment; thereby making him a truly "visionary" leader in this era. I listed a few events below that may have then unfolded as a result:
Stalin's Pipe.jpg

1. Joseph Stalin stuns the Communist world with his new "Make Love, Not War" doctrine, during the 16th Congress of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks), held 26 JUN - 13 JUL 1930; it becomes the new general line of the party. Cannabis consumption skyrockets throughout the USSR.

2. Newly approved commercial strains of Communist cannabis begin to reach the masses with patriotic names such as "Soviet Red", "Crimea Cough" and "Gulag OG".

3. Family dinner discourses throughout the USSR are dominated with endless discussions about "The Man" and his machinations in Soviet society.

4. Afro-wearing Chechens, dreadlocked Cossacks and Soviet Hippies become a familiar sight around town.

5. New and innovate camouflage techniques would be designed and developed by the Red Army for their armor units. The intention is to confuse the enemy with colorful and heartfelt Soviet slogans before they are shot with a 76mm projectile.

6. Soviet Feminists will agitate for more inclusion in the greater Communist dialogue by burning their undergarments in public demonstrations of defiance.

7. In an extraordinary act of compassion, the Central Committee of the Communist Party, promises to retrofit Kommunalkis everywhere with appropriate ventilation to help prevent "hotboxing" the communal apartments.

8. "pykhtet, pykhtet, sdavat" becomes the mantra of Stavka meetings.

9. NKVD executioners routinely fail to carry out their orders after they learn to "hug it out" with their intended victims.

What other changes might be seen during a 1930's cannabis inspired cultural revolution in the USSR?

You show your complete ignorance of the history of Soviet Union. Apparently, you have poisoning from a substance invented by Western propaganda. This substance is called anti-Sovietism. This invention of Western propaganda has a double effect. Anyone infected with anti-Soviet at the same time infected Russophobia. It's a medical fact.
The Great October revolution took place on October 25, 1917.
On the same day, the Bolsheviks declared the equality of all people regardless of gender, race and place of residence. Further, on December 1 of that year, the Bolsheviks and the left socialists-revolutionaries who joined the first Soviet government abolished the death penalty, as well as criminal prosecution for homosexuality. Then the penalty for public indecency was lifted. For example, you walk down the street or go in the tram, and you wear only socks, then no one had the right to offend you even a word. It was forbidden to punish for drug use. Further, it was possible to have wives or husbands as much as you want. In short, you were not forbidden to have as many sexual partners as your body could handle. At the same time, your sexual partners could have the sex that you currently wanted. The obligation to register marriages was abolished.
Until 1928 the streets of Moscow were running and the trams went the crowd of naked men and women, everyone smoked cannabis and snorted cocaine.
In other words, in the USSR, a person could freely do what in civilized and democratic Europe and America people were beheaded, hung on the gallows, put on the electric chair and the like decent things.
There is only one remedy that can cure this terrible disease-anti-Sovietism = Russophobia. It's called knowledge. You can start by reading a book by Harvard University Professor Terry Martin " Empire of positive activity. Nations and nationalism in the USSR, 1923-1939»
"The Soviet Union as a multinational entity is best defined as Affirmative Action Empire" he proclaims. And he explains that he borrowed this term from the realities of American politics — it is used to denote the policy of granting benefits to various, including ethnic, groups.
So, from the point of view of the Professor, the USSR became the first country in history where programs of positive activity in the interests of national minorities were developed.
It is not about equality of chances, but about Affirmative Action-the concept laid preferences, "positive action". Terry Martin calls it a historic premiere and emphasizes that no country has yet equaled the Soviet undertakings in scale.
Without understanding what the Harvard’s Professor writes, it is impossible to understand why the peoples of the Soviet Union and their Red Army under the leadership of comrade Stalin hoisted on April 30, 1945 over the oldest democratic building in Berlin the Red Banner of victory, in commemoration of his victory over the most terrible monster on Earth born democratic Europe

The only meanness that the Bolsheviks committed in 1917 was that they put in the Gulag those noble, democratic and free individuals who set up such posters.

A sign of recovery from anti-Sovietism = Russophobia will be when you realize that thanks to the Soviet Union, its peoples, its red Army and comrade Stalin (Uncle Joe), one of these boys became in the 21st century, the President of the United States of America.

Yuri, this is a humorous thread about what might have happened if the American Cultural Revolution from the 1960's had occurred in the USSR in the 1930's instead, nobody is trying to insult the people or the military of the USSR. As you can see with the photos you have posted, the US has changed a great deal due in no small part to the change of culture in the 1960's.

Greetings to both citizen Yuri and the community as a whole. Howdy Yuri! Well tovarish, in deference to your point OR points-of-view as articulated within your respective postings of Tuesday - September 24, 2019 -2:42pm AND Tuesday - September 24, 2019 - 2:46pm, old yours is wondering if you have EVER reviewed the BASIC RULES of the forum? When the time avails itself, It might not be a terribly bad idea if you looked up the definition of AGITPROP. Your treatise is replete with historical revisionism about the governance of the Communist Party of the now dissolved Union of Soviet Socialist Republics and your rehabilitation of Koba The Terrible is, at best, disturbing. Well, that's my initial two Yankee cents or kopecks worth on this surreal journey down THE ROAD OF BONES - for now anyway. In any case, I would like to bid you an especially copacetic day over in your corner of the now quite Capitalist Russian Federation. Dos Vadanya.

Best Regards,
Uncle Bob  8O

The German invasion of the USSR falls apart after a few weeks, as the landser & Prussian officer corps get used to 'Russian tobacco'.

Greetings to brother Carl Schwamberger, brother Volyn and the community as a whole. Howdy troops! Well, for what this might OR might not be worth to the both of you, I believe what the average Soviet ground pounder smoked was what they called MACHORKA. As I understand it, MACHORKA was (and is) a very cheap grade of home grown tobacco. Undoubtedly, the forum's Great Russian constituency will correct old yours truly over this matter. After all, would you not walk a mile for a KREMLIN? Well, that's my latest two Yankee cents worth on this incidental topic of interest - for now anyway. As always, I would like to bid the both of you an especially copacetic day from sea to shining sea.

Best Regards,
Uncle Bob  :|

USSR brings back Tsar Tank as Soviet main battle tank and deploys them via zeppelin.
