From the German point of view I think the Germans should have blackmailed the Finns with food to continue attacking toward Osinovets in September 1941.I think it would have succeeded and the task would have been relatively easy for Finnish army in September. They had almost three times more manpower and superior firepower compared to Soviet 23rd army in Karelian Isthmus. Then the northern fortified region of Leningrad was also in very bad shape.
