A different fight against Indonesia in East Timor

Now, in OTL, many key East Timorese political and military leaders were captured in Dili and surrounds and quickly executed. In addition, they were little preparation for "bleeding" the Indonesians as much as possible as they advanced through Timor and the resistance was largely broken by late 1977.

So...

let's toss the Coin of Life and both of those things are reversed or at least mitigated in favour of the East Timorese.
