this might sound crazy but since this is a "What If" section well I'm gonna get on with it. Ok just say after WWI the new german territory includes most of former Holy Roman Empire minus Holland, Belgium and Northern Italy. And since Austria and bohemia-moravia is already part of germany there wouldn't be any anschluss. So what will happen next?

Britain and France will probably be licking their wounds while paying huge indemnities to Germany.

And the Germans will be fighting a guerilla war in Switzerland.
