What would have happened if the multinational invasion of D-day failed? What if the invasion was stopped on the Beach head?

You know there is another topic below that is the same one. It is called DDAY. Anyway if it failed, it would be repeated else where. Little chance in defeat though.

There's a good book on this topic: Disaster at D-Day - The Germans Defeat the Allies, June 1944 by Peter Tsouras.

http://www.greenhillbooks.com/booksheet ... t_dday.htm

Excellent book, I highly recommend it.

Basically the Germans throw the Allies back into the sea, but the 1944 Bomb Plot still goes ahead. And the result is........read the book and find out! ;)
