U-Boat attributed lamp. Where it was inside exactly?

Hello,
I got this beautiful lamp attributed to the U 382. It's a rare example and would like to know where it was inside the U-Boat. Maybe in the up level where the kaptain had the periscope attack with a part for iluminate and the other covered for prevent the light go outside throught hatch?
All help is really appreciated,
