Hello,

Normaly, the school tactical symbol is for U 48. But i have a doubt ! U 48 had some different details : The hole for the radio wire attach was smaler on U 48. The hole for the passage of the gun shells just under the wave deflector, was bigger on U 48.

I think this the U 1207 commissioning.

U 1207 as a Versuchsboot in the Erprobungsgruppe ``Pascha`` with the FUMO 82 Berlin, is this correct?????????? .

#1 and #2 are showing U 1207. #3 is not U 1208. Had this before.

2), This is on back of the picture, my German is not that great. But i think the pic was taken on 25-08-1942.
The only commissioned boat on that date was U 339. Suggestions are welcome.

Got pics of U 339 commission and no greenery!
U 338 however did have and commissioned on 25/06/42! ??? Date typo?
Not certain of commander picture though!

Hi Nobby,

no Blohm & Voss at all! Its U 254 entering Brest with its stern diving cell damaged by air attack on 4 August 1942, causing the boat to lie deep in the water.
