I have some Zeiss blc 8X60 (fat) in black. Would like more info on them.

A set of Zeiss "Slim Commander" ( nickname for the set ) 8x60.
First class set, as seen in "Das Boat" in the convoy attack and afterward when the skipper sets down his binocular, when Johann breaks down.
Used by officers and crewmen on watch/signals observation it could be hand-held or mounted on a director stand.
Your is pre 1942 in production , with its rainguard a good value set well worth having.
Attached some info on the set from Dr Stephen Rohan's book on handheld binoculars of WW2.
