Hi
Sorry canot help with this, never seen this pic before. The only type IID boats who had commanders from that crew are U 137, U 143, U 145, U 145, U 148 and U 146 but no pics in archive with this emblem. Axel will probably help!

Hi Nobby,
the boat with the torpedo anniversary is not U 207, but U 413.
Liverpool still going strong, must be wonderful times for you!
Best
Axel

PS: will stay at Liverpool next week for a couple of days to check out a number of museums

U 709 and U 334 in Bergen,
Picture is not from Bergen. Could be Nyhavna Trondheim.
regards

Forgot to say, that the boats are U 703 and U 334, probably in October 1942.

OK not 709! But U 703. This must be the reason I could not find 709 in Trondheim.
Still in shock

Hi Nobby,

There is another day even for the Reds! Read a good U-boat book to calm down.

Had a splendid time at Liverpool in the various museums including Derby House. Never got wet in all these days.

Best

Axel
