Hello to all ; a little more: The U-Bootwaffe in action - transfer of a sick person at sea!
From left: The precautions have been taken. One throw line is transferred to the other submarine to which the inflatable boat is to be attached.
The inflatable boat with the sick has taken off well, on the other boat everything is ready to be taken over.
A swell lifts the inflatable boat, a few moments later, the sick person is in nursing care on the submarine that is on her home course.

Hello to all ; a little more: The U-Bootwaffe in action.
According to the source, she was U 610 (Type VII C) on patrol, hence the photos would correspond to the 1st Patrol (2 sunken ships with a total of 7,972 TRB) or 2nd Patrol (1 sunken ship with 6,125 TRB and 1 damaged with 9,551 GRT). Two pennants are seen on the conning tower.....
