Hello,
This is not a "F" but a Drakkar's head ( Viking boat ), the emblem of the 6th U-flotille on U 404 for exemple.

Best regards,
Lionfish.

Yes i saw it Pikap, but it is very low for a school emblem.
This is the same as U 52.

Best regards
Lionfish.

Hello to all :D; I think the school emblem is the light colored band in the middle of the conning tower (at the level of the lights). Cheers. Raúl M 8-).

Hello Tigre,
The light colored band is the yellow band for the all submarines training in the home waters.

Hi Lionfish,

this is another photo of U 429, this time with a different school emblem. It is also placed low.

What do you think about it

Hello Pikap,

Thank you very much for your picture of U 429 but with a contrast more strenght i can see an emblem in front of the tower.
The emblem of U 429 was a devil painted in black ?
Your picture shows an ex italien U-boat looking the two separated antenna wires.
But your first picture in this post shows a boat with the german standard wire.

Best regards,
Lionfish.
