survivors U671

I have the names of the 5/6 survivors of U-671, sunk off Brighton August 1944. Does anyone know if the British would have interrigated them (I presume so) and if copies would be at National Archives, Kew?

PS: Am new to this site - Wish I'd discovered it a long time ago.

The survivors would have been interrogated by the RN Intelligence Division but the reports wouldnt be available at the National Archives - London - as some of the guys would still be alive and some of the material discussed was VERY sensitive (in what they said about other crew members, etc) and could be very embarrassing to them if still alive.

Its likely that they could be sourced (USN copies) at the National Archives - Washington DC - as the USN were copied in on all of these reports and they are much more free with information
