Let's get back on topic. The discussion on U 234 should be done in the existing thread at http://forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic. ... 10&t=54131

I will reply in U 234. Excuse me but the themes are mixed. is impossible to speak of a submarine without mention another fact.

Regarding documentation Coordination Directorate Federal Investigation Agency Federal Police Argentina Year 1952 was an item near General Peron and therefore pro-Axis. Likewise the SIE (Army Intelligence Service) and served the same government were pro-Axis. All information obtained during wartime are microfilmed and archived in total secrecy. The information we have disclosed the writers are not true but to get them away from any serious investigation.
The same has happened with the opening of archives in Argentina by the Nazis CEANA only have shown what they said nothing they have not said before. Definitely have not said anything new.

Is that your way of acknowledging that you don't have any sources that you can use to support your contentions on this board?

I did a quick search and all I could find was a digital model for a game that pictured them on the stern. I can post that if you want but I'm not sure just how accurate it is.

This article does mention that the T-39 class had them but that T-22 ad up.

There may be depth charges on the rear of T18 in the picture on this page but I can't tell for certain:

Looking at other pages and this one more closely that's T21 and probably not dept charges.

This page:
https://naval-encyclopedia.com/ww2/germ ... -boats.php
mentions that the T39 class were the first to carry launchers but does mention that the T37 did some ASW work so probably rolled the depthcharges off the mine racks. There are some additional references listed on that page which may be of use.
